Puisque ses inqui\u00e9tudes avec les changements politiques au Laos grandissaient, il a pris fuite avec son \u00e9pouse et ses quatre enfants et a secre\u0300tement achete\u0301 un bateau sur les rives laotiennes du fleuve du Me\u0301kong. Ils ont rame\u0301 le bateau vers la Thai\u0308lande ou\u0300 ils ont finalement e\u0301te\u0301 amene\u0301s au camp de re\u0301fugie\u0301s de Nong Khai ou\u0300 ils sont demeure\u0301s pendant plusieurs mois.<\/p>\n<p>La famille avait compl\u00e9t\u00e9 des demandes pour immigrer dans plusieurs pays. Ils ont choisi de venir au Canada, et s\u2019installer \u00e0 Ottawa. \nIls ont b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 d\u2019un soutien exceptionnel de la part de parrains g\u00e9n\u00e9reux, ce qui a non seulement permis aux deux parents de trouver un emploi, mais \u00e9galement \u00e0 leurs enfants de poursuivre leurs \u00e9tudes. La famille demeure tr\u00e8s reconnaissante de la g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 que leurs parrains leur ont t\u00e9moign\u00e9e.
