Ils ont con\u00e7u un plan pour quitter leur pays en s'\u00e9chappant par le Laos. Une fois au Laos, ils sont mont\u00e9s \u00e0 bord d'un bateau et ont travers\u00e9 le M\u00e9kong. Ils ont atteint les c\u00f4tes de la Tha\u00eflande o\u00f9 ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 sous le feu de la police tha\u00eflandaise. Entendant le b\u00e9b\u00e9 de Zung pleurer, la police tha\u00eflandaise a arr\u00eat\u00e9 de tirer et les a appr\u00e9hend\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s la conduite humiliante de la police tha\u00eflandaise, la famille a \u00e9t\u00e9 envoy\u00e9e au camp de Nong Khai et, par la suite, au camp de Nakon Phanom o\u00f9 elle rencontrerait les agents d'Immigration Canada qui ont approuv\u00e9 leur asile au pays. Les agents leur ont offert un parrain au Canada qui leur a apport\u00e9 un soutien financier et acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des cours culturels sur le Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Au Canada, Zung s'est port\u00e9 b\u00e9n\u00e9vole pour des organisations ax\u00e9es \u00e0 promouvoir l'aide \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 vietnamienne. Peu de temps apr\u00e8s, elle a trouv\u00e9 un emploi dans une agence d'immigration. Son travail lui a offert une chance de reconna\u00eetre la g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 du Canada et lui a donn\u00e9 l'occasion de s'\u00e9tablir dans son pays d'adoption.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div
