Ainsi, d\u00e8s son plus jeune \u00e2ge, il s'est int\u00e9ress\u00e9 aux probl\u00e8mes des r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s. \u00c0 la fin des ann\u00e9es 1970, il a travaill\u00e9 avec le Comit\u00e9 central mennonite  (CCM) et l'Agence canadienne de d\u00e9veloppement international (ACDI). Il a finalement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 le \u00abLandbridge Aid Program\u00bb situ\u00e9 le long des fronti\u00e8res du Cambodge et de la Tha\u00eflande.<\/p>\n<p>Au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es de 1980, il a aid\u00e9 \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation d'un programme transfrontalier pour fournir des vivres aux Cambodgiens \u00e0 la fin de la p\u00e9riode khm\u00e8re rouge.<\/p>\n<p>M.
