L'occasion de partir est venue en 1980 quand on lui a offert de l'espace pour deux sur un bateau capable de transporter 200 passagers. Il a d\u00fb faire le choix difficile de diviser la famille et d'emmener avec lui que le plus jeune de ses trois enfants, Thuan, \u00e2g\u00e9 de cinq ans.
